Login failed for user “NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON”

On my Sharepoint Server Farm I encountered an error after i joined a new web front end server to it. The event viewer every minute was showing this message :

Source : Windows Sharepoint Services
Category : Database
Event ID : 3351

Description :
SQL database login failed. Additional error information from SQL Server is included below.
Login failed for user ‘NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON’.

According to the Source of the problem, It thought that it should be related to sharepoint not SQL. I searched a little and found that It’s because of Windows Sharepoint Services Timer. Yes this service had started but the Log On As had been set to Local Service. you know that It should be your Sharepoint Administrator Account. So I changed it ( I mean that both servers should have same Log On As ) and the error stoped.

hope this help ! 🙂

it’s better to use “Service Accounts” in the Operation tab or you can use “Services” in your sharepoint server.
